Admission


• Pupils shall be punctual. They must take seats in their classes immediately after the warning bell.
• When the second bell goes all pupils should assemble in front of the school in order and silence.
• Pupils have to talk English in the classroom and on the campus. They must use English for ordinary conversation.
• During intervals and play time the pupil shall not go out of the school campus without permission.
• If a pupil remains absent from the school, he/she shall produce an explanatory note from the guardian on the day, he/she attends the class next, indicating the reason for his/her absence.
• If the leave of absence is for more than three days, the guardian shall write to the Principal about it in advance, Absence on account of illness should be supported by a medical certificate.
• It is advisable not to send a pupil suffering from infectious or contagious disease to school. A medical certificate showing that the pupil is free from infection should be produced when he rejoins the school after such illness.
• School is not responsible for any valuable articles of pupil.
• In case a pupil desires to return home for a serious reason earlier that the closing time of the school, he / she shall apply in writing to the class teacher, and get the principal’s sanction or the person who is coming to take the pupil shall produce the parents' ID card.
• Students are strictly forbidden to write, to scribble on walls, desks, etc. Damage done should be compensated at the discretion of the Principal.
• The Principal has the right to request the withdrawn of any pupil whose behaviour or progress, in his opinion, is unsatisfactory.
• The school conducts two semester examinations in the year. Examination cannot be deferred nor can they be anticipated to suit individual convenience. Absence from the whole examination means a total loss of mark. Forty percentage of the mark in required for passing in each subject.
• Promotion of pupils will depend not only on the final report but also on the result of the examinations held during the year.
• Any malpractice detected during or subsequent an examination is liable to punishment. Promotion once refused, will under no circumstances be reconsidered and the Principal’s decision shall be final.
• If a student falls twice in the same class or repeats a class more than one year he/she should be withdrawn from the school with L.C.
• Admission fee once paid is not be refundable. Pupils once admitted cannot be withdrawn without a month’s notice or a month’s fee in lieu of such a notice. Leaving certificate will not be used unless all school dues are cleared and all books and articles belonging to the school are returned.
• School fees should be paid in time late fees will be fined.
• All the students shall come to the school in full uniform on all days including the examination days, unless otherwise instructed. The uniform must be kept clean and tidy.
• Parents and guardians have to co-operate with the authorities of the school for enforcing regularity and discipline, and for promoting the intellectual and cultural development of the children. They should every day supervise and check their child’s homework.
• Parents should meet the teacher on the report day after the examination and discuss the progress of their children.
• Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous or is guilty of mal practices in connection with examinations or has committed an act of serious in discipline and / or misbehaviour who, in the opinion of the head of the school has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupils, may be expelled permanently of remove from the school for a specified period by the head of the school.
• No school business will be transacted on holidays and at the residence of the office bearer or staff of school.
